Pressure Systems offers a wide variety of Inline, Detonation and Free Venting flame arresters. All models are designed to inhibit flame propagation by absorbing and dissipating heat using spiral wound crimped metal ribbon flame cell element.

KSFI Inline flame arresters are designed, manufactured and tested to API2000 and British standard specification BS7244.

They prevent the propagation of flame from the exposed side of the unit to the protected side by the use of a 316L stainless steel crimped metal ribbon type flame element.

Inline flame arresters can be installed either vertically or horizontally within a designated distance from the potential ignition source.

KSFD Inline detonation flame arresters provide positive protection against flame propagation in piping systems that are manifolded or have long runs.

These arresters are designed to stop an ignited flammable vapour mixture travelling at subsonic or supersonic velocities. They are also designed to protect against continuous burning against the SS316L cell for a specific period.

Construction: Carbon steel (epoxy coated), SS304, SS316 bodies with SS316L flame cells. Sizes 25mm through to 300mm.

KSBB & KSBS pressure vacuum valves are an advanced design for vent to atmosphere applications.

Designed, manufactured and tested according to the API 2000 code, these valves utilize the latest technologies to provide protection against positive or vacuum overpressure and prevent air intake, evaporative losses of product and help contain odorous and potentially explosive vapours.

Minimum pressure of +/-22mm WC and a maximum setting of +/-6500mm WC.

Aluminium, Carbon steel, 304ss and 316ss, with various trims.

Connection:

FM factory mutual approval for the majority of sizes and materials. Sizes 50mm through to 300mm with ANSI 150lb flanges.

Designed, manufactured and tested according to the API 2000 code, these valves utilize the latest technologies to provide protection against positive or vacuum overpressure and prevent air intake, evaporative losses of product and help contain odorous and potentially explosive vapours.

Minimum pressure of +/-22mm WC and a maximum setting of +/-6500mm WC.

The models KSPR and KSPS pressure relief valves are an advanced design for vent to atmosphere applications.

These pressure relief valves provide protection against over pressure, prevent air intake and evaporative loss of product, and help contain odorous and potentially hazardous vapours.

Body materials are available in aluminium, carbon steel, 304SS and 316S, with various trims to suit individual requirements.

Connection:

Available in size ranges 50mm through to 300mm with ANSI 150lb FF flanges as standard.

Pressure and vacuum relief valves are installed on storage tanks containing vapour producing products.

They protect tanks from damage caused by over pressure during the filling and emptying process or from thermal expansion and contraction. These valves, when mounted in conjunction with a suitable inline flame arrester, provide maximum protection against fire and explosion from outside sources of ignition.

Available in size 50mm and vacuum settings ranging from 22mm WC to 6500mm WC.

The series KSEP is designed to provide emergency pressure relief for storage tanks when exposed to over pressures that are not handled by standard tank vents. These vents provide the capacity to meet API standard 2000 for emergency venting due to fire exposure, when properly sized.

These covers provide quick easy access for tank inspection and maintenance. The KSEP emergency pressure relief vent provides pressure relief only. The series KSEP is available in several materials that are corrosion resistant to most petroleum product applications. Predetermined setting range is from a minimum of 50mm WC to a maximum of 700mm WC. Sizes are 400, 450, 500 and 600mm with flange drilling according to ANSI 150lb or API 650.

The series KSEV is designed to provide an emergency pressure relief opening for storage tanks when exposed to overpressures that are not handled by standard tank vents.

These vents provide the capacity to meet API standard 2000 for emergency venting due to fire exposure when properly sized and provide high capacity vacuum flow for emergency pump out of product. These covers also provide quick and easy access for tank inspection and maintenance. Sizes 400, 450, 500 and 600mm.
